RISP (IUPUI)
The ACT Center received a prestigious Interventions and Practice Research Infrastructure Program grant from the National Institute of Mental Health. This very competitive federal grant is designed to build research infrastructure in the community mental health world and to examine ways to assess and improve the recovery orientation of ACT services.
Mental Health Treatment Study
This nationally financed research study assesses the extent to which people receiving Social Security Disability due to serious mental illness may gain competitive employment, and leave the SSD rolls, as a result of provision of effective supported employment and behavioral health services.
Partners in Family Research and Practice
The general scope of this collaboration between Indiana Universitys Center for Adolescent and Family Studies and Adult and Child Center is to pursue research that helps improve interpersonal, behavioral, psychological and school functioning of youth and families by supporting evidence based practices in the mental health, child welfare, education, corrections, and juvenile justice systems. We will achieve this through research, program development, and community based implementation of Evidence Based Practices.
