Children and families are this communitys finest resource and we are responsible for the healthy development of each of our children.  Adult and Childs community based services are specifically designed to coach and support families toward building a safe, nurturing, and communicative environment in which every child experiences encouragement, love, and success; and every parent feels the support of their peers.  Parenting is a very challenging job.  Adult and Childs teams are trained to focus on family specific stressors and will help each family locate and use tools or resources to eliminate, or alleviate, those challenges.

Some of our best successes come from working with families involved with The Department of Child Services, The Department of Corrections, and The Department of Education.  Our treatment teams operate using a delivery model focused on open and frequent communication with families and their support systems.  We encourage families to build healthy support networks that last long after our teams leave the family. 

Adult and Child believes in delivering treatment practices that really work.  Aside from their partnership with The Center for Adolescent and Family Studies at Indiana University, which is focused on the implementation of evidence based practices with Indiana families, Adult and Child has invested many of our resources in building strong, multi-disciplinary teams, who are exceptionally focused on individual families.  Furthermore, Adult and Childs caseloads are well below the industry average, allowing them time to work more intensely with families and respond more efficiently to individual needs. 

Our Child and Adolescent service line offers access to a full continuum of services.  From our Therapeutic Foster Care homes to our outpatient services, we are focused on quality, customized, and patient centered services.
