Adult and Childs family preservation services provide intensive, wraparound support to families that struggle with mental and behavioral health issues. Masters Level Therapists and Bachelors Level Case Managers engage families in their own homes, schools, and communities to affect successful outcomes in their daily lives. Adult & Child teams are committed to implementing evidence-based practices, adhering to Systems of Care principles, and employing Cognitive-Behavioral interventions that best serve families in crisis. Many of the families that access our services are involved with government agencies such as Child Welfare, Probation, Dept. of Corrections, and Special Education.
Family preservation provides comprehensive assessments, focused on the holistic needs of the family, and deliver treatment directed to maximize the strengths of each family member while developing practical treatment goals directly related to their family preservation or reunification needs.
Family Preservation services are very intense and teams work with very low caseloads, which allows services to match the severity of the familys needs and quickly affect outcomes. In 2007, the program realized the following outcomes:
- 95% of our families did not have a child reenter the juvenile justice system
- 90% of our families remained intact and in the community - family preservation
- 96% of the families who completed the program rated the services "satisfactory" or above
By committing to evidence and research-based practices, delivering intense treatments, and producing positive outcomes, Adult and Childs family preservation program has developed an excellent reputation as a preferred provider to our referral partners and as an innovator in our field. |
